The mechanisms of the SUNDIY system are equipped with perforations designed for fixing the slats from the top. This method of fixation is essential for WOODEN slats, as it ensures their secure placement.
For ALUMINUM slats, it is optional. However, in areas exposed to wind, we strongly recommend opting for this fixation.

Regarding the calculation of the required screws, it is necessary to plan for 2 screws per slat:

One screw on each side of every WOODEN slat.
Two screws on the same side for each ALUMINUM slat, as this positioning allows for expansion.
