Mounting of Douglas fir wooden slats on SUNDIY aluminum mechanism

The mechanisms of the SUNDIY system are equipped with perforations designed for fastening the blades from above. This fastening method is essential for WOODEN blades, ensuring they remain securely in place.

For ALUMINUM blades, it is optional. However, in wind-exposed regions, we strongly recommend using this fastening method.

Regarding the calculation of the required screws, plan for 2 screws per blade:

One screw on each side of every WOODEN blade.
Two screws on the same side for each ALUMINUM blade, allowing for expansion.
